OUR
STORY
Since its inception in 2007, Edventure has been committed to providing ongoing educational opportunities through hands-on outdoor activities during school holidays. Originally established to offer enriching tuition, Edventure has expanded to include a diverse range of day programs, camps, and tour packages.
With a deep passion for both education and the outdoors, Edventure Director Mark Bridger has crafted various programs specifically for the school holidays. As a current and fully registered classroom teacher, Mark emphasises the importance of continuing education through engaging and practical activities outside the classroom.
Our programs are beloved by children, who gain valuable knowledge of outdoor concepts and apply new skills through practical activities. A typical day involves oral discussions, reading meaningful texts to support activities, and participating in teamwork and confidence-building exercises in the great outdoors.
Common activities in our outdoor programs include caving, tramping, mountain biking, kayaking, sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, surfing, fishing, horse riding, farm activities, archery, confidence courses, team building, and leadership exercises.
